THE Canadian province where Woodside Petroleum is developing its Kitimat LNG project with Chevron Corporation faces another stumbling block as the British Columbia LNG Alliance has issued warnings about harmful steel tariffs.

"In order to proceed, LNG projects in BC cannot face additional costs that our competitors do not," an alliance spokesperson told local newspaper the Squamish Chief this week.
