Woolies spins off servos 

WOOLWORTHS is spinning off its service stations to British EG Group for $1.75 billion in a binding agreement, after signalling earlier this year it was looking for buyer and increasing its management team in the hope the business could stand alone.

    EG is, Woolworths says, "a global leader in fuel and convenience retailing with some 4700 sites across Europe and North America".    The group will take all 540 stations across the country.  ...
