ACCC clears Santos Quadrant buy-out

THE Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said this morning it won’t oppose Santos’ takeover of Quadrant Energy meaning the Adelaide oiler is clear to take over the private-equity backed Western Australian company, its  partner in the Devil Creek and Varanus Island processing hubs.
