Exxon may exit upstream Malaysia

EXXONMOBIL may sell its offshore Malaysia assets as part of its planned $15 billion divestment program, after earlier announcing the sale of its non-operated Norwegian North Sea assets to the Eni-backed Vai Energy for some US$4 billion and opening a data room to offload its aging Bass Strait assets offshore Victoria for an asking price of $2.5 billion.
