EG throws hat in ring for Caltex

EG is now officially courting Caltex after Alimentation Couche-Tard made its third and final offer earlier this week. The Canadian company offered A$8.8 billion for the company in its non-binding offer prompting Caltex to agree to give it a look at the books on a non-exclusive basis.
