AUSTRALIAN gas giant Santos has closed its acquisition of several onshore permits across northern Australia from Armour Energy.

It was just a month ago that Santos inked an agreement with Armour to acquire 100% ownership of ATP 1087, ATP 1192, ATP 1193, EP 172 and EP 177 for A$12.16 million cash.
