North Sea decommissioning tempo ramps up

THE UK continues to set the tone for decommissioning of offshore oil and gas facilities globally, and the Veolia-Peterson joint venture has just signed a contract with the heavy lift and pipelay contractor Allseas for dismantling and disposal services on a northern North Sea facility.
