Samsung Heavy and Bloom to develop LNG-fuelled ships

KOREAN shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries and US company Bloom Energy have signed an agreement to develop LNG carriers powered by LNG-powered solid-oxide fuel cells to bring down the shipping industry’s carbon emissions.
