AGL fined $3 million for liability failure

A WEEK after AGL was rapped over the knuckles by the Victorian energy regulator and told to get its house in order, the company has been fined $3 million after failing to comply with Victorian energy efficiency regulations.

The Victorian Essential Services Commission yesterday confirmed AGL had paid a shortfall penalty of almost $3 million after failing to surrender enough certificates to offset its liability
