China inks 20-year agreement for US LNG

ONE of China's largest private energy companies ENN Natural Gas has signed a sale and purchase agreement with Cheniere Energy to take 1.8 million tonnes per annum of LNG from the Sabine Pass LNG project in Texas.

The 20-year agreement will see ENN purchase LNG from Cheniere on a free-on-board basis for a purchase price indexed to the Henry Hub price, plus a fixed liquefaction fee. Deliveries will begin in mid-2026,...
