Hazer approved for ARENA funding

PERTH’s Hazer Group’s application for funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency under its Advancing Renewables Program has been approved by the ARENA board and the agency will now enter into negotiations for a funding agreement of up to $9.41 million to support its low emission hydrogen production facility.

Hazer's proocess enables theconversion of natural gas, and similar feedstocks, into hydrogen and high quality graphite, using iron ore as a process catalyst.

Hazer's process splits hydrogen and CO2 from biogas and then stores the resulting carbon in graphite, giving it two commodities from the facility's waste gas.
