Equinor developing first at-scale hydrogen park

EQUINOR is about to embark on one of the world’s largest gas-to-hydrogen projects using carbon capture and storage at the Saltend Chemicals Park in the UK, hoping to cut 900,000 tonnes of CO2 per annum and create tens of thousands of jobs.

The Hydrogen to Humber Saltend, H2H Saltend, will use a 600 megawatt auto thermal reformer with carbon capture and will be the largest plant of its kind to turn gas into hydrogen.
