UN calls on oil & gas industry to triple investment in renewables

OIL and gas companies are investing in renewables at record levels, but it still is not enough to decarbonise on a scale that meaningfully mitigates climate change, according to a United Nations body which this week called on industry to triple renewables and carbon capture and storage projects.
