Vast Solar gets A$65M funding solar thermal plant

AUSTRALIAN solar innovator Vast Solar has been awarded A$65 million, from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) to fund its VS1 project – 30 megawatts/288 megawatts hour utility-scale facility in Port Augusta.
