Iran targets terminal redevelopment

“With the 40–year old technology employed in the construction of the country’s oil terminals and piers, they need renovation,” said Qodrat.

“In a bid to carry out the renovation task, experts from the company have inspected and visited more than 40 oil terminals throughout the world. Using the expertise gathered from the tours in conjunction with the required planning and programming, it is hoped that our oil export terminals will be able to meet the latest world standards,” added the OPETO official.

Qodrat revealed Neka, Kharg and Asaluyeh, Iran’s principal terminals, as the main targets for the renovation work.
