In 2005 the event is being held from May 2-5 and will attract over 2000 exhibitors and over 45,000 participants from over 80 countries.
Western Australian minister for state development, Clive Brown, launched the trade mission at the offices of ChevronTexaco Australia last night, urging all industry players to consider attending.
It is planned a delegation of 25 would make up the group, with a host of functions and events planned at both the OTC and prior to departure.
It will be the 7th year the American Chamber of Commerce has led a trade mission.
