Bids out for Iran-Oman gas pipeline

The firms which have been offered the opportunity, according to the Middle East Economy Survey, are Foster Wheeler Engineering Co, Acre Warner and Toyo Co. Petropars and MELNG are looking for “pertinent issues” like costs and tariffs.

The pipeline, once completed, will transport up to 9 trillion cubic feet of Iranian gas to Oman for 20 years. The gas will be transported first to the UAE before being sent to a receptor terminal in Oman.
