The sale of Novera Energy Europe Ltd was the basis for the establishment last December of the Novera Macquarie Renewable Energy joint venture. Parent Novera said it would remain headquartered in Australia with former Novera Europe CEO David Scaysbrook appointed managing director (based in London) of Novera’s newly established business development unit, Novera Ventures, in addition to being reappointed to the board of NVE.

He had ceased acting as CEO of Novera Energy Europe when the sale to NMRE was completed.

Fellow Novera Energy Europe executive, Shane Gannon stood down prior to the establishment of NMRE and yesterday was appointed chief executive officer of NVE.

Both men have also been appointed to the board of NMRE where they represent NVE’s interests.

Novera chairman Don Stammer said the company was very pleased the have retained the services of Mr Scaysbrook and Mr Gannon as the company’s top two executives.
