Apache chief to address Young Petroleum Professionals

The event is being held at the Belgian Beer Café, 347 Murray St, Perth on Tuesday 15th February. The cost is $30 for attendance, and is open to SPE members, PESA members, other young industry professionals and students studying within related areas.

Eve Howell has a BSc Hons in Geology and Mathematics from the University of London and an MBA from Heriot Watt University Edinburgh Business School. Her oil industry career started in England with Amoco in the North Sea. In 1981 she moved to Australia with the consulting group ECL initially as a senior consultant and then technical director of the company.

Howell is an APPEA councillor and chair of APPEA’s Environmental Affairs Committee, a past president of the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists, a Member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, a board member of the Australian Mines and Metals Association and a past president and life member of the Petroleum Club.
