The ERA said this morning the time frame it originally specified “may not comply strictly with the terms of sections 2.31(b) and 2.43(a) of the Code and the method of calculating time periods in the Appendix to Schedule 1 of the Gas Pipelines Access (Western Australia) Act 1998.”

“To avoid any potential difficulty in the assessment process and future decisions of the Authority which might result in substantial delay, inconvenience and expense to all interested parties, the Authority has decided to issue a new notice under section 2.31(b).

In January DBNGP Transmission Pty Ltd (DBNGPT) proposed a revision of the access arrangement and access arrangement information relating to the DBNGP, with the ERA subsequently inviting interested parties to provide submissions relating to the proposed revisions.
