REAPING the benefits of high oil prices is ExxonMobil and its chief Lee Raymond. It said the chairman and chief executive pocketed a 37% wage boost, taking his remuneration last year to US$38 million.

ExxonMobil reported profits of US$25 billion and a market capitalisation of US$386 billion, surpassing the General Electric company.
