THE Western Force pulled off an upset 30-27 win against the Bulls in Pretoria, South Africa, putting the Force in 3rd place on the Investec Super 14 table.

The other Australian teams fared less well. The NSW Waratahs lost to the Cheetahs in Kimberley, South Africa, while the Brumbies snatched an ugly and controversial win in Brisbane after a Reds try was disallowed in odd circumstances.

This weekend, the Waratahs have a bye. The Queensland Reds and ACT Brumbies will both cross the Tasman - the Brumbies to play the Hurricanes in Wellington, and the Reds to play the Blues in Auckland.

The only game being played in Australia this week is in Perth where the Force host the Lions. Both teams have had two wins and one loss this season. The Lions don't travel well, but the Force haven't won a game at home yet.

The Super 14’s Australian sponsor, specialist banking group Investec, is offering you the chance to win tickets to this game.
