Investec Super 14 tickets to be won

THE Western Force achieved another milestone last Friday by posting their first Investec Super 14 win over an Australian team, in a 38-3 victory over the Queensland Reds.

The Force are now third on the ladder and must be growing in confidence after an inconsistent beginning to the season.

Meanwhile, on Saturday the NSW Waratahs hosted Cape Town’s Stormers, going down to the visitors 16-10.

And in South Africa, the ACT Brumbies took on the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein, not only going down 38-20 but also losing captain Stirling Mortlock for four to six weeks with a broken hand.

In this coming weekend’s round of matches, the Western Force have a bye, giving star inside backs Matt Giteau and Matt Henjak an opportunity to heal minor injuries, while the Reds host the Chiefs from Waikato, New Zealand in the only match to be played in Australia.

The Brumbies continue their South African tour with a game against the undefeated Sharks in Durban, and the Waratahs travel to Auckland, New Zealand to face the team currently second on the competition ladder, the Blues.

The Super 14's Australian sponsors, specialist banking group Investec, is offering PNN readers the chance to win tickets to the Reds-Chiefs match in Brisbane.
