Farewell Wilko

YESTERDAYS story, The hunt for new oil provinces, was the last of Rick Wilkinsons regular columns...

Rick will be researching and writing two commissioned oil and gas books concurrently over the next two to three years.

“I will have a great amount of work to do with basic research, interviews and travel during this period,” he told PNN in a recent email.

“Unfortunately this means that I will no longer have the time to contribute to PNN and Petroleum.

“I have enjoyed working on the publications. They are both excellent forums and they have gained a good following in the industry over the past few years. Many thanks for the opportunity to work with you. Perhaps there'll be a chance to get together again in the future.

We thank Rick for his work and his enthusiasm over the last two-and-a-quarter years, and we hope to run occasional pieces from him in the future.

PNN will continue to offer regular feature articles for its Premium subscribers.
