Murphy sells Wisconsin refinery

US major Murphy Oil is selling its refinery in Superior, Wisconsin to Calumet Specialty Products Partners for $US214 million ($A197.6 million) as part of its ongoing strategy to exit the refining business.

The sale of the 34,300 barrel per day plant also includes the value of the hydrocarbon inventory at closing in the third or fourth quarter of this year, which could increase the sale price to about $US260...
