Greymouth court stoush gets ugly

THE Auckland High Court battle for control of Greymouth Petroleum turned ugly last week with the alleged intimidation of a witness prompting the presiding judge, Justice Murray Gilbert, to issue a written directive.

It is alleged minority Greymouth shareholder John Sturgess threatened the director of a Taranaki oilfield services company as he was about to give evidence on behalf of the other Greymouth
