The fire started in a technical room, said field operator BG (45%) and was put out with no injuries.

However, the incident shut down production less than a week after it started.

It is also the second fire on the Teekay Offshore Partner's FPSO Petrojarl Knarr with the first occurring at a Norwegian shipyard in October.

The vessel has 63,000 barrels per day of production capacity and 800,000bbls of storage capacity.
