Flemish Pass hunt disappoints

STATOIL's much anticipated revelation about the outcome of its 19-month drilling campaign offshore Canada, and with the size of its remote Bay du Nord discovery appearing to be at the lower end of estimates, may make exploitation less viable in off Newfoundland's coast, which is potentially bad news for Woodside Petroleum and other explorers along the Atlantic Margin.
