The Eugene Island blocks (62, 63, 76 and 77) were awarded June 8 and are in 20 feet of water where Byron undertook its proprietary Reverse Time Migration seismic processing in 2014.

In June the company estimated the gross mapped potential for the blocks is 308 billion cubic feet of gas and 12.6 million barrels of oil.

It placed a US$225,000 bid for the 5000 acre VR251 block and a $273,000 bid for the 5468 acre SM70 block, but does not have any in-house reserves for either.
