Teekay's shipping news

TEEKAY LNG Partners is buying a second 155,900 cubic metre newbuild LNG carrier from Norway-based LNG carrier owner and operator Awilco LNG.

The vessel, the second of two Teekay has acquired from Awilco, is under construction by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering. It is expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2014.
