Harriet spuds new well in TL/6

THE Harriet Joint Venture spudded its Mohave-1 exploration well on Sunday in permit TL/6, junior ...

The well is being drilled from the Victoria Platform as a sidetrack of the North Pedirka-1 borehole with an objective about 1.9 kilometres to the north-east of the platform, according to Tap.

The well is currently drilling ahead to the planned deviated total depth of 2,900 metres.

Tap said Mohave-1 was designed to evaluate a small Flag Sandstone prospect on trend with the North Pedirka Oil Field.

The company said the well was expected to take five days to reach its total depth. If successful, it would be brought into production from the platform's existing facilities.

TL/6 participants: Apache Northwest Pty Ltd(operator) 68.5%, Tap (Harriet) 12.2229% and Kufpec Australia 19.2771%
