Scalybutt tied into Woollybutt facilties, Woollybutt-5 drilling ahead

Meanwhile, as of 6am yesterday (Perth time), the Woollybutt-5 appraisal well had drilled to 2495 metres measured depth and casing was being cemented immediately above the target reservoir while operator Eni Australia was preparing to drill ahead to planned total depth of 2875 metres.

“The drilling operations are proceeding according to the revised plan and the well is expected to take approximately three more days to reach total depth,” Tap said yesterday.

“The Scalybutt and Woollybutt production wells will be test flowed to determine optimised production rates before the expected return to operational flowing conditions from all three wells, namely Woollybutt-1H, 2H and Scalybutt-1H, next week.”

WA-25-L Joint Venture Participants are: Eni Australia Ltd (operator) 65%, Mobil Australia Resource Co Pty Ltd 20% and Tap West Pty Ltd 15%.
