Oil's bizarre fundamentals

Every night, before being tucked into bed, a real oilman says a prayer to God. Nothing wrong with that. But our genuine, true-blue, oilman is not praying to a conventional God. His God is a Scotsman named Adam Smith, father of the “invisible hand of capitalism”, the man who first explained how the free market works and, in the eyes of some people, the wrong God.
