Prosafe said Statoil's HSE committee based the award on strict criteria including modification projects in drilling areas being conducted with a dedicated HSE representative, installation of similar equipment on the platforms to promote both safety and efficiency as well as HSE requirements and operational requirements being put on equal footing when selecting equipment and systems.
