Ambit Group adds engineering arm

Ambit Engineering - formerly TRS - is the latest addition of specialist recruitment businesses following its full integration into the Ambit Recruitment Group, which overseas all aspects of Ambit's specialist recruitment business units.

These units include Australia's largest privately-owned IT&T recruitment business, Ambit IT&T Recruitment, Ambit Sales & Marketing Recruitment, Ambit Executive Recruitment, and Ambit Professional Recruitment.

The Chief Executive of the Ambit Recruitment Group, Mr Nicholas Barnett, said the formal name change came almost a year after Ambit acquired TRS from previous owner Fluor Daniel, and gave the company time to be fully integrated into the Ambit recruitment offering.

"This has allowed us to introduce customers over time to the benefits and advantages of being part of a large and diverse recruitment service, with the transition now complete and TRS having taken on the Ambit name and associated branding," Mr Barnett said.

"Clients have been fully assured that the great service delivery they previously experienced with TRS will be strengthened under the Ambit Engineering name, and internally we expect to leverage the power of Ambit Engineering by virtue of association with Ambit Recruitment Group."

Mr Barnett said the full integration of Ambit Engineering into the Ambit Recruitment Group would enable greater exposure in all employment sectors and industries.

"This will offer the company greater access to resources, new business and networking opportunities, and the associated benefits of being part of a large Australian recruitment company."
