Czech Government have previously estimated the field's original recoverable oil reserves at 236,000 bbls with 208,073 bbls remaining recoverable reserves.

Carpathian has an initial 75% interest in Krasna that will reduce to 50% once their capital costs of bringing the field into production have been recouped. All payments for oil are made in $US.

There are two other existing wells in the Krasna oilfield. Carpathian and its local partner intend to bring them into production in the coming months. When producing, these two additional wells will potentially double the output of oil from Krasna.

The company is also raising approximately $1 million to drill their first gas production well at the nearby Janovice gas field, located only five kilometres from the Krasna field.
