Kenneth Skirka has been appointed chairman ofAustralian Oil & Gas Corp.
Chris Haynes who currently holds the position of chief executive officer, North West Shelf Ventures has accepted the position as Shell's country chairman in Syria and chief executive of the Al Furat Petroleum Company.
Mr Hayes will be succeeded by Steve Ollerearnshaw, currently managing director, Petroleum Development Oman, which is the Sultanate's major oil, gas and LNG producer.
Bob Boyson has been appointed as a director of Nexus Energy Limited, effective 10 September 2002. Nexus said Mr Boyson, a petroleum engineer, has had a distinguished oil and gas career in Shell, BNOC and BHP Petroleum. Mr Boyson has been advising the board of Nexus on implementing its corporate restructure and revised strategy.
The current board of Nexus Energy Limited now comprises five directors; Neil Philip (chairman), Bob Boyson, Michael Fowler, Al Haydock and Bob Hosking.
