The integrated subsurface company has pulled on board Graeme Baillie, who has 20 years of experience in the industry under his belt, having been involved in all aspects of exploration, including prospect generation, new ventures evaluation and basin-wide acreage evaluation.

Most recently he was consulting to Amity Oil and Strike Oil. His responsibilities at Troy-Ikoda will be split between business development and project work that is predominately focussed on developing the client's exploration portfolios.

Alex Maftei is the other new face at Troy-Ikoda, joining as geology manager. He also has 20 years of experience in exploration, development and operations. Maftei has worked around the world on most technical geoscience aspects of the oil industry, from basin scale exploration through to developing projects and producing fields.

His specific expertise include regional prospectivity evaluation including basin modelling, sequence stratigraphy & reservoir modelling, detailed volumetrics and pore pressure interpretation and prediction. He also has extensive knowledge of clastic reservoirs, including deep-water environments. His responsibilities at Troy-Ikoda will predominately be technical, focussed on exploration services, reserves auditing and development planning projects.

Alex Parks, managing director of Troy-Ikoda Australasia said, "Both Graeme and Alex are highly capable in their fields and bringing them on board reflects Troy-Ikoda's commitment to growth in the region".
