“With the additional output, the government’s oil output target of 1.15 million bpd this year is achievable,” Warnika told reporters.

“The additional output will come from some fields including Exxon’s Sukowati oil field in Cepu, which is located at the border of East Java and Central Java provinces, Expan’s Kaji field in South Sumatra and Pungut field in Riau.

“Next year, the additional production will be contributed by Oseil field which belongs to Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Company. The additional output will keep the average oil production at a level which has been planned,” he added.
