Non-OPEC oil producers account for 60% of the world’s oil production.

In a statement Purnomo said, “We are asking non-OPEC countries to raise their supply [and] OPEC will keep its promise to increase output by 2.5 million barrels a day by August 1. This will not change.”

“OPEC will continue to monitor prices in the run-up to its meeting on July 21,” added Purnomo, who did not elaborate further.
