The company added that production from the field is expected to increase to 12,000bpd once the Woollybutt South-4H well starts production.

"Incorporating the Woollybutt-4H well will assist in reaching ultimate reserves of about 40 million barrels of oil, of which 29 million barrels have been produced to date," Tap said.

The Four Vanguard was shut down last month after free hydrocarbon gas was detected onboard the vessel.

The Woollybutt partners are Tap Oil 15%, Eni (operator and 65%) and ExxonMobil 20%.
