Leaders move up on crude push

Oil prices pushing to their highest ever levels have been reflected in the share prices of the major oil producers. Woodside, which in January almost dropped to $20, reached highs this week of $22.83. It eased back then put on 65c today to close around $22.65. Santos is still drifting after recent highs of $9.50, closing around $8.90.

Oil Search has also gone from strength to strength, almost doubling its market capitalisation over the last six months. In the third quarter last year OSH traded between $1.20 and $1.30, contrasting sharply...
