THE boys at Bass Strait Oil are experiencing the hero to zero phenomenon. The stock was over 80c last week - this week it closed at 23c - a serious plunge in any man’s language. It would have been a long time since former Shell chief executive Bernard Wheelahan was as personally involved in the fortunes of a well as he is now as he leads BAS.
