BP banks on gas future

UK-BASED oil and gas major BP has predicted that gas could become the world’s second most important fuel source as early 2035, overtaking coal, and gaining on oil as the primary energy source soon after, vice president for strategic planning Dominic Emery has told a gas conference in Vienna this week.
