Senex sees improving macro climate

SENEX Energy posted a A$82.3 million loss after tax in its half-year results, owing to a non-cash impairment charge of $80 million related to its Cooper Basin exploration assets, which it had flagged earlier in the week.

The company also saw net production drop 10% to 370,000 barrels of oil equivalent, howeve sales revenue climbed 31% to $29.8 million, thanks to a higher realised oil price of $88 per barrel.
