Chevron's Australian assets key to 36% profit jump

CHEVRON Corporation has hailed the rising contributions of its Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG projects in Australia as it beat even the most optimistic of analyst expectations to turn a profit of US$3.64 billion during the first quarter of 2018.
