Origin announces small price cut as EnergyQuest predicts more east coast gas pro

ORIGIN Energy has announced price freezes and some cuts across Australia after last year’s 15% rise in gas prices, but it seems like it will be another gloomy winter for gas users as prices may still go up amid higher demand through the cold months given Queensland’s export commitments and overall flat CSG exploration through Queensland, according to Adelaide-based analyst firm EnergyQuest.
