THE US Energy Information Administration has called China a “key destination” for increasing US energy exports, such as LNG, crude oil and propane.

EIA says China second-largest market for US crude

Chinese demand has driven increases in imports of all three, as its manufacturing sector ramps up and energy demand for heating increases. 
 
China is second only to Canada in its imports of US crude (29% versus 20%). 
 
"China received more US crude oil in 2017 than the third- and fourth-largest importers, the United Kingdom and Netherlands, combined" the EIA said.
