More work needed to reduce power prices: ACCC

WHILE there are reforms underway to address the "dysfunctional state" of energy retailing in Australia, more action is needed to further reduce prices for household consumers, according to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission's (ACCC) first electricity monitoring report.
