Activist shareholder group expecting climate win at Woodside AGM

WOODSIDE Petroleum’s annual general meeting today will be its first held online and activist shareholder group the Australiasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility is betting its three resolutions may get an even stronger vote than their historic 46% at Santos’s April 3 AGM.

The ACCR did not get its resolutions to Woodside's AGM last year in Perth but this year it has the support of four major proxy holders, for at least some of its three resolutions.
